Artist Bio

From where the coldest winds howl, burns a church at the end of the world, Morningstvr is the bringer of cold synths, with malevolent drums and winterous screams of that which is Synth-Based Black Metal.

Evolving from his debut album in 2022, “The New Salem”, Morningstvr brings you “In Memoriam of the Blvck Wind”.   Showcasing his lust for dark winters, vampyric horrors, witchcraft from his ancestral homelands, and legends of atumnal pasts.  Being influenced by many black metal bands such as Darkthrone, Xasthur, Hulder, Hekseblad, & witch house artists like Axius Link, Morningstvr continues to display his hatred for the fascist Christian system and its horrors they’ve committed onto the world.   Drawing inspiration from his sub-influences of Worm, Thy light, Nocturnal Depression, Luna Pythonissan, Motionless in White, Nordicwinter, Caladan Brood & Soulless, Bone-shattering tracks such as “In the Dead of Winter” which ties in his love for winter, dark romance and esoteric knowledge brings you through love, life, death, heartbreak and hope, while “You Remind Me of Fall” brings you to an autumnal world speaking of what we all wish to find in life, it will haunt you with its emotional synth progressions and eerie vocals and undertones.  The second studio album by Morningstvr is set to be full of with stories of cold worlds, vampyric affairs, legends of autumnal ghost long forgotten, & witchcraft from far away corners af the world on February 22nd, 2024.

In his dominating esoteric track, "Silver Lake" first released from the album, In Memoriam of the Blvck Wind" speaks of what anyone may see at first when they pass through the veil of death, you will be captivated by the progressive synths and haunting wails that even the creatures of night have come to fear.   With the second single of his new album, Morningstvr unveiled “Where the Shadows Lie”, a tale in where he speaks of rituals going awry and leading to world problems, that humanity digs deeper into holes they shouldn’t for desires they go too far to to obtain.   The final single released in the same time of its title, “In the Dead of Winter” brings shock and frost to his audience, Morningstvr’s screams speak of a vampyric love affair where a man is haunted by his vampire lover in the middle of a winter and confronts his lust and resistance for her.  Morningstvr’s blood ran cold whilst forging “In Memoriam of the Blvck Wind” in the darkest of nights, blood and snow shall rain on the day this album is unleashed upon the world.

And in continuance with his “Unholy Trinity”, hailing from the halls of the black castle in the Frozen Hell, “A Fate Engraved” was unveiled as the second installment in the quest.   Drawing from the themes of winter, the medieval period and atmospheres of worlds that bring peace to us, and conjuring an upgraded sound inspired from funeral doom, blackgaze and dungeon synth, Morningstvr breaks new grounds in such an epic collection of the twelve scriptures of this particular album.

The lead track from the album, “The Last of the Northern Kingdoms” carries the weight of all the despair, the lore and tones of what “A Fate Engraved” is shown to be and molds them all into the epic sound of Pure Synth-Based Black Metal.

“A Fate Engraved” is a tale to be told of the dark ages, of love, of betrayal, of lands long lost to the chapter of man.  Where the cold winds blow, beyond the cold wastes, where witches dance upon moonlight to ancient synths, where knights were once betrayed by allies, ghosts of wraiths rising from mountain tombs, where whispers of nameless fears are said to be heard in ears of travelers.   The midsummer release of “A Fate Engraved” is a siege upon the very foundations of the earth, where it will shatter the windows of the churches of the world, and as the sword is drawn, with spear and shield, the monumental impact of this collection of twelve tales shall be engraved upon the world.
